Is the lockdown turning you into a clean freak? Are you cleaning everything in sight?
Some tips to help you:
Never submerge any blind in water. They will never be the same again!
Never put your vertical blinds in a washing machine.
- Never clean a blind with a vacuum cleaner, without an upholstery attachment. You will damage the fabric or stain the fabric.
- Remember what kind of blind you are cleaning. All cannot be treated the same.
- For a wooden blind, only use a damp microfiber cloth to clean your blinds. Do not use any abrasive chemical that will stain your blind.
- Aluminium blinds, sock it to them! Dip the sock into a bowl of warm water and cleaning solution (again not abrasive chemicals), wring out the sock until almost dry. Place your hand inside the sock, carefully clean each slat on both sides simultaneously.
- Vertical blinds, simple unclip each slat carefully from the headrail bracket and wipe them with a damp cloth.
Happy Cleaning!!
